We live in HK and are visiting Melbourne... Couldn't resist a Chinese place. Lovely, comforting food, lots of variety and decent dim sum. Excellent service - thank you guys, made us feel at home :)
This restaurant is like an old-fashioned Chinese tea-house and the ambience is excellent, including Canto-pop music. The menu is wide-ranging with good prices. I had the pork belly with rice and it came with sides of wombok cabbage and a fried egg, all for $12.50. Of course change of $2.50 ought to go into the tip jar for the wait staff. Next time, I want to try the roast duck and crispy pork belly on rice. This is a great alternative to other fast-food outlets nearby.
There are many options available (maybe too many) both for food and drink, with good value and quality.
Food is decent wouldn't call it great though. The interior is really nice spacey, modern, has a modern warehouse feel. The music makes me reminisce about my year exchange in Taiwan so ill be returning whenever I feel nostalgic.
