Small restaurant, cheap and tasty food, and quick service, it's definitely a good place in Fitzroy.

The crab claws and sui mai are delicious, and the wan tons are... read more Rize is hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways we have in the inner city area of Melbourne. The crab claws and sui mai are delicious, and the wan tons are superior to many of those offered in Chinatown ie. really good taste and substance. The crispy skin roast pork is quite good but the deep fried pork ribs with salty chilli is even better and the servings of each rib is generous. These are the dishes we tend to order so can't really comment about other dishes. The one area that Rize could lift it's game is in the mixed vegetables, which we find less than ordinary. Overall though, the other dishes we order are really, and that's coming from quite fussy eaters of Chinese food.

Other thi... read more Quick dinner experience here, the roast pork rice I ordered was simple but nice. Pork came with crispy skin and just the right amount of fat and meat. Other thing that caught my eye was the all you can eat yum cha on weekends. Worth a return visit just to check that out.

The crispy noodles with chicken are also fantastic. The prices are very reasonable as well. We highly recommend this place!
