At last- sophisticated dishes-well presented, which tasted great! Attention to detail, fantastic personal service-professional and servicing your needs- just how it should be.

Tried the 3 course lunch set with coffee. All the dishes were really delicious. Visited near the end of lunch service so it wasn't crowded and service was decent.I had the potato and leek soup, spatchcock and for dessert, bread and butter pudding. All good.Hopefully would be still good after renovations.

After having a really good conversation with a lady on the phone to ensure this was a restaurant as opposed to a Melbourne cafe style restaurant where you get shoved up against the next table with no privacy in conversation at all - a prevalent trend these days - we met up with some friends for dinner. Although our table allocation was by the window it was smack up against the waiters station so there was absolutely no privacy in conversation But my main disappointment was with the food - selection of starters was good however my steak tartare was a heavy lumpy dish that in no way matched what a tartare should be other than it was raw, no condiments offered... And the barramundi mains when it came presented as a small fillet of fish with a topping of sautéed mixed vegetables on the top parked in the corner of the plate with the rest of the plate glaringly empty. The fish was soggy and tastelessService was attentive but the food does not rate a mention for the $350 price we paid for four people - won't be going back

The only downside of our visit to this restaurant was locating it within a shopping/hotel complex. Despite following the signs, we had to walk through the complex before finding it.

We arrived a little early for our reservation and were given the option to sit at the bar while waiting for our table. The staff offered us a nice cozy table in the corner.
