Paperboy Kitchen is down little Lonsdale street in the Melbourne CBD, opposite Hardware lane. In between Elizabeth and Queen streets. Very fresh food! Tasty! I can't believe I had walked past so many times without going in. I had the pulled lamb and hoisin which was delicious. I saw others wearing the Rolls and they are a very good size! Only a 4/5 as the spiced lemon iced tea, which was tasty, was small for its $4.5... View all feedback.
Restaurant which combines Vietnamese with the modern. Great tasting food and also quite large portions (for the bowls). Each dish also comes with a side of popcorn too! Staff here are friendly and very helpful too. Seating is limited, however if you get there early you should be able to secure yourself a spot during the lunchtime rush.
I tried the spicy pork bowl at this restaurant and it was fantastic! I typically prefer traditional dishes, but this modern twist on the bun was truly exceptional. The fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations, along with a satisfying spicy kick, made for a delicious meal. The location is convenient and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend trying it out.
While not the most affordable option, this restaurant offers hearty and delicious dishes. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly on noodles bowl. The spicy popcorn and fun dinosaur toy added an enjoyable touch to the meal. The friendly staff was also a great bonus.
This restaurant is very accommodating for vegans, offering 2 main meals that can be made vegan by simply asking the staff to omit the mayo. We ordered 2 satay tofu bowls without mayo, but they were mistakenly brought over with mayo. The worker quickly rectified the mistake by remaking the order without mayo, and even gave us some free potato gems on the side. The service here is excellent, the food is tasty with good portion sizes, and they now offer weekday dinner in addition to lunch.
We walked pass this place almost every second day. It was on our way to the gym and next to one of our go-to Korean places (the lunch bar). It is an interesting one man shop. The chef cooks the food and serves at the same time. Rice bowl dishes are well made. The sauce is on the sweet side. I would probably call it Vietnamese fusion. Not a bad place for a quick bite.
