Olive Garden - Melbourne
Olive Garden
Description
Nestled in a cozy corner, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere and reasonably priced meals, particularly its standout wood-fired pizzas. Diners rave about the generous toppings and flavorful options, including delightful antipasto platters. However, service can be hit-or-miss, with reports of disinterested staff, lack of menu knowledge, and unfortunate experiences with Groupon vouchers. Patrons have noted inconsistencies, from overly small portions of paella to mixed responses from management during service hiccups. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant’s ambiance and select dishes, like the pizza bianca and steak night specials, make it a potential gem for casual dining.

Feedback
The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and they offer happy hour specials. However, the staff seemed disinterested in engaging in conversation or building rapport, and appeared to lack knowledge about the menu.
The meatballs had a nice, juicy texture and were generously sauced, while the breadsticks were a bit on the hard side and not quite up to par. However, I came for the pizza, and it did not disappoint! I would highly recommend this place, as the prices are very reasonable for a wood-fired restaurant, and the quality of the pizzas is definitely top-notch.
We began our meal with an antipasto platter and garlic bread, before moving on to a selection of their most popular wood-fired pizzas. My favorites were the Hawaiian and the salami, topped with paprika, olives, oregano, and buffalo mozzarella drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. To finish off, we indulged in a dessert pizza topped with seasonal fruits and ice cream.
Poor and rude by service by staff and manager; very cold environment food was very avarage not an enjoyable evening at all. Should have realized a very quiet restaurant on a saturday night when all others around where busy ,steer clear of this one plenty of good competition around
