Had a lovely lunch salad for $12 or so today. Full of delicious lamb shoulder and drizzled with tahini yoghurt. Yum! The advertised olives were a bit...

Buzzy little laneway bar with a good vibe. Popped in for some quiet drinks and the service has been great. Really classic fitout and some great tunes....

There you go, breaking my big ol' heart again. The menu said Padron peppers. My mind conjured images of naked Adriana Limas cavorting around a skillet...

Neapoli is one of those Melbourne institutions that is just perfect in every way. Tucked away in a nondescript laneway, this oasis is heavenly for those looking for that little bit of Europe in Melbourne. Just like a French bistro, Neapoli serves great wine and food at cute little tables inside and outside. The deck area is lovely on a Summer's day, glass of wine in hand and a few plates to share amongst friends. Inside is a gorgeous bar area, and there are cosy tables upstairs. The atmosphere is cosy and warm, and service is impeccable. You couldn't find a friendlier place. I love to come here for coffee and cake in the morning, and for wine and tasting plates in the afternoon and at night. The perfect place for a cosy date, or a get together with friends, Neapoli covers both groups with ease. They also have heavenly desserts, and the wine list is varied, with something for everyone. This is the place to escape to when you want to relax and wind down after a long day, and it is definitely one of my favourite spots in Melbourne.
