I probably have most of the mrs. Fields stores around melbourne visited because of the type of my work (requires a lot of travel) and because I love brownies and chocolate chip cookies. her coworker training is good because I have always found service to be excellent. which is one of the reasons I have rated them well. yes, I find the cookies a little on the expensive side, but they are consistently tasty and sometim... We went to mrs fields because they support seniors cards ♥️. We only ordered coffees, a flat white and a cappuccino. There were two girls working but it took 15 minutes to get our coffees. When I looked to see what could be holding things up I noticed that one of the girls was doing something at the biscuit window and the other was serving new customers. When I looked a second time both the girls were serving customers. I think it would be more efficient for one to serve and the other to get started on the orders. Our coffees were both very weak and not hot, we only drank half then decided it was just too crappy and left.
The Mrs Fields chain sells baked biscuits/cookies, muffins, brownies and other snacks, plus hot and cold drinks. The chain has been in Australia for 30 years. I first encountered a Mrs Fields outlet on the busy concourse of Wynyard Railway Station in Sydney. Its point of difference was its freshly-baked-on-site American-style cookies. These days I doubt all products are baked on site in every outlet, but the products are still quite OK, and the range has changed to keep up with food fashions. Once in a while I buy a takeaway coffee or snack at the QV Shopping Centre in Melbourne CBD before catching my bus home. It's a family-run franchise outlet and the people are pleasant. There's under-cover communal seating close by.
I am addicted to Mrs Fields cookies and I'm not ashamed to admit that. They are sooo yummyThey remind me of subway cookies, but better.
If you want to spoil yourself when you're shopping at Knox, there are worse places to enjoy a guilty and probably highly fattening food than Mrs Fields.
This is a spot to pick up delicious, sweet treats of decent quality, perfect for grabbing fast food to go, since there is no seating available on site.
