They have really good pies but 2 years ago I went to get some lunch and after paying I found out it was there last day of the Year and had lots of stuff still. The ended up giving me two family sized quiches and some huge laminations we were very appreciative as we didn't have to cook in the scorching heat
This is a so-so bakery, in my opinion Culturally, they seem closest to the traditional 1970s-style Australian suburban bakery, with a few twists.
I was brought a very fresh and tasty vanilla slice which was such a great size I cut to make two serves out of it. The custard was perfect texture. Icing on top not too sticky. Had a coffee with it as well and ended up being a good afternoon snack. Thank you to the lovely staff. Recommend.
Millhouse Bakery Cafe is a nice little tuck shop style Bakery offering freshly made Sandwiches Focaccias and Rolls, they also bake some nice Pastries Pies and Sausage Rolls, the Pies and Sausage Rolls are nice, they definitely aren't the nicest I've had, but they definitely do a pretty good job.
