A simply delicious Nepali restaurant. Intimate, small and charming. The food is great and very affordable. Recommended.
This is a little unassuming place that probably only seats (a squeezy) twenty people, but the food is cheap and great. The momos are fantastic, particularly the ones in soup. The set meals are also fantastic value with many under ten dollars.Do also try the grilled meat dishes. They also do great lassi, coffee and Nepalese tea.I almost don't want to review them to make sure we can always get a seat, but don't want to risk them not getting enough business, so go and enjoy a great place.
OK if you're ever in Winnipeg you Gotta stop off here , I guess my mother is a regular here because when I went to Winnipeg to visit her she met me at the
I give this restaurant a rating of 3.5 stars. I had previously tried the momo platter with 5 different types of vegetarian momos. This time, I only tried the two that I liked the most - sandheko (spicy marinated) and kothey (pan-fried). The sandheko momos were fried with spicy rice and had a different sprinkle on top, which didn't taste as good as before. The kothey momos were a better option than the sandheko. Unfortunately, both types of momos had a strong flavor that overwhelmed the taste of the dish.
The customer service at this restaurant is amazing, with beautiful ladies attending to our needs. Although the food did not meet our expectations compared to our previous visit, it was still good. I especially enjoyed the momo and thali dishes, and I highly recommend trying the Masala tea - it's the best.
