Great little spot down an alleyway. We didn't have a reservation but got in straight away. All three pasta dishes were outstanding and were very reasonably priced. Will be back. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Maccaroni Trattoria Italiana:
I came here before I went to the theater. I had booked what was good when she seemed busy. some of the options were available under the menu with vegan. we ordered the garlic and cheese vegan option from the entree and I ordered the vegan lovers risotto. I enjoyed the garlic and kesepizza. the risotto was beautiful without being amazing. service was a little slow to begin, but once we started it was fast and friendly View all feedback.
I stopped by before heading to the theater in search of a place to eat, and the delicious Italian food really satisfied my craving.
The Maccaroni Trattoria is a charming restaurant that serves excellent Italian cuisine.
I ordered the capsicum and bacon pizza. The crust was a little underwhelming, but the overall taste of the pizza was delicious and the price was very reasonable.
We had our first meal in Melbourne here, and it was such a great start to the trip! The fact that we could pay using Kris+ made it extra convenient—especially friendly for Singaporeans. We tried the seafood pizza, and all the seafood was incredibly fresh. The squid in particular was so tender and springy, it tasted like it was just caught, but not chewy at all—perfectly cooked! This place is also kid-friendly, with a dedicated kids’ menu, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our first meal in Melbourne. Highly recommended!
