Description

Mabrown's CBD branch offers a bustling atmosphere in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, with a canteen-like setting that caters to both sit-down diners and those looking for a quick take-away meal. The restaurant is known for its delicious curry laksa, featuring curried chicken and generous portions of noodles and tasty ingredients. The quails served at this eatery are coated in a delectable sauce that is worth the time and effort it takes to eat them. The sambal eggplant is also highly recommended. Overall, Mabrown's offers good quality, Southeast Asian style fast food at reasonable prices.

Quail was out of this world. Highly recommend to give this a go. The flavours are very unique and will leave you craving more. Melvin was also very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

I always walked passed this little unassuming place in he CBD and heard about their famous quail a few times now. I've always wanted to try it, I can tell you it did not disappoint, it was defiantly worth the wait.

The picture says it all. Super moist and crispy at the same time, love the sauce (although I wish it was a little bit spicier). Must try the quails and get ready to have your hand dirty. Worth it.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the famous spicy quail is still my favorite dish! I will definitely come back just for it. It tastes amazing when paired with hot steamed rice.

Tried their quail for my first visit. The taste is great! Fried quail with crispy skin covered with delicious sweet and spicy sauce. The food came out quite fast, around 10-15 mins. However, the service needs to be improved. Give more smiles, explanations, and be more patient with the new customers.
