Lievita is unique as far as I am aware in regards to Pizza Restaurants in 4 ways. Firstly the toppings are completely different to most other restaurants. They are simple but very tasty. Secondly the Pizza is light and crunchy not making you feel that horrible bloated feeling that a thick base often does and thirdly you can purchase by the piece so you can have as many pieces as you like of different toppings. Slices are cut into 4 and served on a service board. The last and the other unique thing with Lievita is you can buy slices of pizza (or by the kilo) take it home and cook it yourself! Excellent for a 5 star freshly cooked pizza night at home with the family! The staff are friendly and helpful in the process as it is different to most pizza restaurants. There are other items on the menu including deserts and it is licensed. It is a small place so be prepared to wait for a seat but the wait has never been too long (5 minutes at most). In all we love Lievita and has become one of a few regular restaurants we visit.

It remeind me of being back in Italy and love that you can buy it by weight and go back for more if necessary. Wine and beer choices are good and the staff are very friendly and polite. It is so reasonable to get a filling lunch here - I will definitely be going back.

Luce, the own... read more I moved in Australia from Italy three years ago and I finally managed to find a place where they make pizza Al taglio and makes me feel like home. Luce, the owner, is very passionate about it and put a lot of effort in making it the proper way and I have to say that the result is amazing. Wonderful combinations of flavour, some old good classic and some new as well, but all of them really fresh and highly enjoyable.
