I feared the worst but their double espresso was actually pretty good. Not bad at all. Can recommend it if your walking past and Rex is closed.
Friendly attentive staff, great selection of fresh food and good value. Ice coffee's are amazing!
The Swine has been visiting this café for several years; it used to be a Degani cafe. Located at the Spencer Street end of Flinders Lane, the coffee at Leap's is decent—not amazing, but not bad either. The place sees a lot of regulars and tends to be busy most mornings. It's quite small, with a convenient hole-in-the-wall setup, but there are a few tables outside as well. They also serve lunch, and the Swine is a big fan of their steak sandwich with avocado. It's absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly. Overall, it's a bit of a hidden gem for workers in this part of town, especially nice when the weather is pleasant!
I enjoyed a fantastic chicken salad here today. The chicken was juicy and freshly grilled. The salad greens were fresh, and the ratio of chicken to salad was just right!
If you're looking to enjoy breakfast for lunch during the week or want a taste of everything from a big breakfast but can't quite finish it all, the lite breakfast option is perfect. It's half the size of the big breakfast, allowing you to savor a variety of flavors without overindulging.
