Stopped off for dinner at this restaurant. Had the meat lovers pizza. Very tasty with lots of meat ingredients. Price was also very reasonable as well. Definitely will return for dinner next time in Melbourne. View all feedback.
What Gobaan R doesn't like about La Di Da:
bouncer did not seem to understand that a university event was going on. my friend pulled out her student ID by chance and instead of waiting 5 secomds he stepped out of the line and told her to wait another hour. not friendly people. View all feedback.
We were here for lunch. They have recently renovated part of the interiors and also updated their menu recently. This had an effect on their lunch special weekday meal times, which they previously offered at nominal prices, have now become expensive and the food flavor was not the same. Was a bit disappointed about our recent visit here. But it is a good place with generous seating to offer loads of diversity.

Hello, I have hosted numerous social events at La Di Da and they have always been very helpful with me throughout my activities. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and on our occasions, they provided us with a private space. I am grateful for the service they offer. Thank you very much.
1/6/2019 Not a place if you are not white. It’s 2019 and the old “are you on the guest list” line shouldn’t be used. I sat there watching a bunch of let’s say “white” younger guys get in with no are you on the guest list line. Oh well if you are looking for a place, go to the state of grace. I work around the corner and this place is happy to take my money during the day. I’m sure this place doesn’t care about my review. Will be reporting to human rights commission. 3/6/2019 post owner feedback on google. The incident happened to us at 11:30. We were 3 of us but we were meeting other friends who arrived about 15 mins prior. They were 6 of them who had no trouble getting in. The explanation given to us was that we needed to be on a guest list but our friends who arrived earlier were not on any guest list. We hung around for about 10 mins after and our friends came out and tried to explain to your staff but the staff insisted that we needed to be on a guest list. In that time we saw at least another 50 people go into the venue no questions asked. We didn’t make a fuss and left. For the life of me, I cannot work out what would make the 3 of us different apart from the color of our skin. Dressed neatly, we were not drunk or were behaving in a manor that would suggest otherwise. I’m sure your CCTV footage would confirm. It’s hard not to conclude that we were refused entry purely on appearance instead of behavior. This sort of thing needs to be stamped out of Australia. I have formally notified the human rights commission even if change can start with your business.
