Kisumé - Melbourne
Kisumé
Description
Kisumé offers a fine dining experience with a mixed reception among patrons. While some were disappointed by the high prices and average quality of food, others raved about the outstanding service, ambiance, and delicious dishes. The restaurant seems to have some room for improvement in terms of consistency and cleanliness, but overall, it remains a popular spot for those seeking a special dining experience in Melbourne.

I heard great things about this place, but could not be disappointed. eating was very average. better sashimi in iga supermarket. was dry and tasteless. to be fair, they have at least adjusted the bill, but still paid 200. will not go back and will not...recommending
Not my choice of restaurant, more of a Sushi Sushi with a large dining area. After much examination of the menu, my partner and I ordered a meat dish between us. The meat was undercooked and had no flavour at all. There was no mention...of how we wanted our meat cooked by the waitress. The wine was nice, a crisp Australian rose. Deserts were a classic mix of different cuisines. Unless you love expensive sushi and your local take away is closed, give this restaurant a miss.
I had heard such good things about this restaurant, but what a good farewell. $68 for a 'big' main consisting of 2 small pieces fish and nothing else! even the wrong suppe was $17. the sushi was not different from the sushi I can get. everywhere around melbourne, but 10x the price. the service was also average and we could find out who we thought the manager was blasphemy and criticized her personal right in front of our table at the end of the night. our meal cost $340 for 3 of us and I left starving and very disappointed. I will not return and would not recommend this restaurant. in melbourne there are so many better Japanese restaurants.
Bro just save your money and go to Japan and eat 20 dollar sushi, it tastes the same and it costs about the same too. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
The sushi was quite good and authentic, but overall the course menu was disappointing for a high-end Japanese restaurant. The Western-style dishes were especially underwhelming — the wagyu beef was dry and the sauce was overly salty. The cod was very plain and also too salty. For the price point and setting, the non-sushi courses fell far below expectations. We won’t be coming back. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $120–140
