$50-70 for a pretty bland tasting steak is a total rip off. I had the scotch fillet and my wife the reef n beef. Both steaks were lacking in flavour. I had a far tastier steak whilst in the UK at a Whetherspoons pub. That only cost me $20 and had a pint of beer/glass of wine/spirit as part of the price. So not at all impressed. Then there was the mashed potato that came with the steak. This was lumpy and rather watery tasting. So they don't appear to use spuds that taste good as mash and don't seem to know what a potato ricer is.Lastly was the chocolate mouse. There was NO aeration in this what so ever and was more the consistency of chocolate custard. Not very chocolatey tasting either. So all up an expensive endeavour to come to the conclusion that it is scratched off the list of restaurants to ever return too.

Really disappointing!! Will not be returning. Steak was lacking in flavour, they got our order wrong after seemingly loosing it, and taking ages. Small entrees, and the worst chocolate 'mousse' I have had in years: it was like slightly chocolaty custard... runny and not Moussey at all! served with the worlds smallest serving of vanilla icecream. I sent it back and replaced with a nutella crepe of rather doughy and rubbery consistency. Their core side being 'creamy mash' was lumpy and watery at the same time, and not particularly flavoursome. Poorly chosen 'dessert wines' that were not sweet and boring salads. Staff were however friendly and apologetic. we were given my steak for free, and a bowl of chips for the time taken.. which were mediocre. In the end hubby and I ended up eating mains and desserts at different times than each other. Also quite expensive for what seemed like not-great food.

The steak was really nice and we enjoyed the sauces, salads and mash/chips. Unfortunately after being given one glass of tap water we were not offered a refill. It would have been nicer to have the same waitress take care of our table rather than it changing as perhaps that would have meant closer attention to detail. It was a busy Friday night when we dined.

The steak was amazing! Perfectly juicy, tender and melt in your mouth. The entree and the side salads were delicious as well. Service was outstanding from all the waiters, waitresses and the cook. Highly recommended!

One of the best places for good stalls in Greater Melbourne. Quality and prepartion of the meat is excellent. Great choices for starters and desserts. The staff and chef are really nice and friendly, giving a lot of attention to each patron.
