Was Anonym at Ivanhoe Hotel a mag?
First visit since renovations. Looks good. Upon arriving on a week night only about 20 others there. Surprisingly there was quite a long wait for food for 2 to be served. Then instead of lamb shanks one was served lambs fry. The Scotchfilet was chewing and grissly. I couldn't eat it or digest it. My wife had the Thai beef salad that had no Asian greens, the beef was hard and it was also unpalatable because there was much too much chili. It actually burned my wife's mouth because there was so much chili. The bad and butter pudding was delicious.
It was a jot day of 37 and unfortunately it was quite warm inside and numerous customers delighted themselves with menus. Even employees commented how hot it was. Aldo ordered 2 Scotch Filet. I was lucky and got SF, but sister definitely got inferior meat cuts that were full of gristle and gum. Everyone went home and felt like we had wet blows because of heat.
