The water... read more The service at this restaurant was very attentive, with the owner explaining the specials and portions. The waitress was pleasant and also attentive. The water was clean and refreshing, although a bit slow to refill. The food was exceptional, with all pasta being homemade, not just the gnocchi. The ragu was a standout dish, with tender meat, flavorful seasoning, and a thick sauce. The portions were decent. The special of fish with risotto was amazing, with a creamy and light texture, fresh taste, and perfectly cooked fish with crispy skin. The vegetables were also tasty with a nice crunch. While this place may be a bit pricier than average Italian restaurants, the quality of the food justifies the cost (although there is no pizza on the menu). The only criticism is the $5 corkage fee per person, even if you only bring one bottle of wine.

The owner of the restaurant went out of their way to explain the specials, customize portion sizes, and provide information on where to purchase alcohol since the restaurant does not have a license. The service was prompt and efficient, despite the busy crowd, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our dining experience. The price per person ranged from A$20 to A$40 and the food received a rating of 4 stars.
