Hello Sam - Melbourne
Hello Sam
Description
Hello Sam is a popular burger joint in Melbourne that seems to have mixed reviews. While some diners were disappointed with the overwhelming sauces and messiness of the burgers, others enjoyed the juicy and tasty meat patties. Customer service also received mixed feedback, with some feeling let down by the removal of menu items and the lack of flexibility in customization. However, the atmosphere was generally described as friendly and family-oriented. Overall, Hello Sam seems to be a hit or miss for customers, with some finding their burgers lacking while others enjoy the variety of options and sides available on the menu.

Lunch with the family today. 3 fussy eaters who were all accommodated without any trouble. Food was plentiful and tasty and the lady who took our order super friendly and went out of her way to help.Still full and satisfied 4 hours later! We will be back!
This place was a great burger stop that would be a fortnightly meal for me and some friends. I am disappointed that the menu has removed the best chicken burger and the service seems to have dropped. I even ordered a burger and requested a hash brown to be added as it was available on another burger but was told "no, you can't have one" which was a little disappointing considering every other time I've been here, I've been able to pay to add a hash brown. I was disappointed in the way it was handled and am a little hesitant to return. When service and food quality are the determining factor in a surviving restaurant in melbourne, I'd hope they address these issues.
There was way too much sauce, mustard and relish in my Uncle Sam burger. The whole thing became a sloppy mess. The sauces completely over-powered the beef and the cheese. It didn't taste good, I couldn't hold it without making a mess and the whole thing was too salty. Very disappointing.
Seating is very cramped, even for two people, but the food is great and the service is excellent
Hellooo Sam! <br/ <br/ This restaurant prices itself in offering burgers and beer. We took the option of the burger salad (sans bun). Little heavy on the sauce but good sized serves of meat and veg. <br/ <br/ Sweet potato chips were a good accompaniment to an overall fulfilling meal.
