Located in Coventry Street, this corner coffee shop has a unique atmosphere that was transformed by graffiti artists. While the coffee is consistently good and the food is enjoyable, some reviewers have noted that the staff can be distracted at times. Despite this, regular customers keep coming back for the great GF bread, yummy smashed avocado, and quality coffee. The cafe attracts a diverse crowd, from hipsters to yummy mummies, with its popular toasties and delightful jams. While prices may be a bit steep for some, the overall consensus is that this bustling cafe is worth a visit, especially for their amazing avo mash. Just make sure to avoid Sundays when they're closed, and consider checking out their sister cafe, Wynyard, for a similar menu and cozy ambiance.

Was Anonym at Giddiup Café a mag?
DO: The toastie. We travel over to eat this bad boy. Soooo good. DONT: Come on a Sunday. They're closed. TIP: Dont despair. The same people also own Wynyard across the road with a similar menu and equally cute cafe View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Giddiup Café:
Walked in and got seated without hassle on Sunday lunch. Coffee came relatively quickly but the burger that I ordered only arrived about minutes later. With much anticipation and hunger, the burger left us a bit disappointed as it is an average burger. Not...bad, but not worth the wait. View all feedback.
YUM YUM YUM Great coffee, great breakfast! We are the beet salad with chèvre and avo.
When only having one meal out per week because you are in money saving mode after the holiday season, the meal better be worth it.
It wasn't a coffee day for me today (I know, blasphemy!) but it was time for a healthy lunch and I snuck down to South Melbourne to join a friend and follow
Since moving office to South Melbourne this has become my go to place. A great friendly team, fantastic coffee and food. The 5 and dime bagel with Avocado is a must. Also do fantastic winter soups served with a couple of excellent chunky slices of sourdough.
