What Hallea dislikes about Gekkazan:
Stopped for a quick lunch. Loved the alley which was previously part of the GPO. We were disappointed we stayed. Service was unfriendly to the point of being rude. The food was stodgy. Had to search for any beef in the waygu bento box, which was 50% rice. Wouldn't go back plenty of better places for Japanese. View all feedback.
Very tasty and good quality food, lovely location and friendly staff (real Japanese). Highly recommended for a lunch break in weekdays or all-day meal
We had lunch there the other day and it was really niceWe both went with their lunch bento box and I liked it.
As the very late comer to gekkazan i will be the party pooper here. The fresh, roll-your-own crispy nori sushi is certainly great novelty and does taste
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shopping area. They serve delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine. I recently tried the Teriyaki Salmon Bento and it was just as amazing as it looked in the photo. I particularly enjoy coming here for their sushi rolls, as they separate the seaweed from the rice to keep it fresh and crispy until you're ready to enjoy it. I wish more Japanese sushi restaurants would follow suit.
