Foddies is a charming restaurant located near the beach, offering wholesome food and an interesting breakfast menu. The cafe caters to a variety of dietary needs, making it a haven for those with allergies, including those on the FODMAP diet. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that guests with restrictions can still have a satisfying culinary experience. The gluten-free doughnuts are highly recommended by many patrons. There were some mixed reviews about service and limited dessert options, but overall, Foddies seems to be a welcoming spot for those in need of allergen-friendly options. Finally got to try Foddies after following them from starting up in Albert Park. Delicious meal, great service and relaxed atmosphere! Also got a donut for home, wow! Amazing. Thank you Foddies View all feedback.
What Bradford Hickle dislikes about Foddies:
A good location near the beach. Wholesome food with an interesting breakfast menu. We chose the cafe for the gluten free doughnuts as a birthday treat, unfortunately all doughnuts were sent to the Moonie Ponds cafe and no desserts were available. View all feedback.
What a great little place in Albert Park! Foddies Cafe specialises in providing dishes that are low-FODMAP, gluten-free, fructose-friendly and allergy
Nice breakfast with great assortment of bread such as sourdough spelt and coffee at reasonable prices, friendly staff cool place even for fictions
It’s great to see an imaginative menu and catering for food issues. My green smoothie was a surprise but I should have made more enquiries. It was a chilled spinach and mint liquid with lovely garnishes on top (see picture). However the chia pudding seemed to be just a streak. So on a bleak Winter’s day it was not really what I wanted. The coffees weren’t bad and the layout is inviting. However the service from one staff member left a little to be desired with no idea who ordered what, and who brought something over that wasn’t ordered at all.Toilets are up 3 flights of stairs and there was a box in the way when I was there.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Though not all items are gluten-free, the gluten-free options are treated like delicious superstars. Treats like southern fried chicken burgers, bubble waffles, and my personal favorite: MAC CHEESE BURGERS are amazing! And the best part is, they are all gluten-free! If you have Coeliac disease, an allergy, or intolerance, you must visit Foddies because you don't want to miss out. And did I mention the doughnuts?
Staff were so friendly accommodating. Food came out fast. Food was really tasty, however the sesame ice cream wasn’t my favourite. Gluten free pavlova donut was delicious for a gluten free donut. Overall great experience
