Figo - Melbourne
Figo
Description
Figo has emerged as a noteworthy spot for Italian cuisine, particularly praised for its authentic, light-style pizzas and fresh ingredients. While some diners expressed disappointment with certain dishes, such as the bolognese arancini and the pasta’s sauciness, the standout pizzas, especially the Egor Protti, garnered rave reviews. Service, however, has been a mixed bag, with some complaining about delays and pushy upselling. Despite occasional inconsistencies, many diners appreciated the friendly atmosphere and attention to quality. Overall, Figo remains a beloved choice for pizza enthusiasts in the area, promising a delightful experience for those willing to explore its offerings.

I have only ever ordered takeout from this restaurant, so I can't comment much on the decor or atmosphere, but the pizza is fantastic! It is a light Italian style pizza with fresh and tasty flavors. The pizza and ingredients are of high quality, making it the best pizza I have had in the local area. The last time we ordered through foodora, there was a mistake and they did not send anyone to collect our order. After trying to contact foodora with no luck, we reached out to Figo who informed us that the food was ready but foodora had not arrived. Ten minutes later, Figo delivered the food themselves without letting us know it was them. I was very impressed by their great service and food quality, especially since it was not their responsibility to fix foodora's mistake. We will definitely be ordering from Figo again soon, directly from them of course!
I went to Figo for dinner tonight. I ordered the Pizza Italia and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of the best pizzas I've had in Melbourne in the past five years. The base was crispy yet soft, and the fresh toppings were delicious. I will definitely be returning to Figo.
My first pizza from here has been the best pizza I have had in Elwood St Kilda. Thoroughly authentic Italian. Don't go here if, 1. You're cheap quality costs 2. You like as many toppings as possible stacked on your pie 3. You don't enjoy a perfectly crispy base. This is pizza done the right way. I'd like to keep it my little secret, but I want this one to stay.
This restaurant in Melbourne serves some of the best pizza, with a superb gluten-free crust.
