I recently met my mom at Southern Cross station and decided to try out this restaurant. It was a great choice - the staff were calm and genuinely polite. The food was delicious, particularly the salads. I tried the vegetarian breakfast last time and it was excellent, especially for the price of $16 in the CBD. The atmosphere and surroundings were also very pleasant. Overall, a fantastic experience.
This restaurant is one of those hidden gems that you might walk past without ever noticing. Located inside The Age building, it is worth taking the time to visit. They offer a variety of delicious breakfast options. The Dear Luncher particularly enjoyed the egg and bacon sandwich, which was made with high-quality bacon and a perfectly runny yolk. The long macchiato was also well-made, striking a nice balance between strong coffee and creamy texture. Despite the bustling crowd, the service was impressively fast. It was a satisfying breakfast experience overall.
The Swine feels that the coffee used to be excellent, but as the cafe's popularity grew, the quality may have declined due to the high demand. They still occasionally visit for coffee during off-peak hours. As for the food, The Swine recently had a chicken sandwich for lunch and found it to be very tasty. They also noted the good variety of salad options available at reasonable prices. Overall, The Swine finds Espresso Hub to be a likable place and gives it their approval. However, they warn that coffee enthusiasts may want to be cautious during peak times.
A great cafe just a quick stroll from work. Happy to say it has one of the best and biggest salad bars in the city.. Always quick service with a smile with every coffee. Occasionally i go for the Friday burger.
