Description

Escagrill is a well-known restaurant that has received mixed reviews from its patrons. While some guests were disappointed with the service and felt that the prices were too high for what they received, others raved about the consistently excellent food and service they have experienced over the years. Standout dishes like the duck breast and seafood platter with lobster have left diners satisfied. The relaxed atmosphere, good wine selection, and delicious desserts like creme brûlée and tiramisu have also been highlighted. Despite the high prices and occasional service mishaps, many customers still find Escagrill to be a worthwhile dining destination.

Our dinner at Escagrill was excellent! We had the premium seafood platter with added lobster (although we knew lobster is pricey, after seeing on the bill that it cost $90 I'd say it probably wasn't a worthwhile addition despite being tasty). Everything was delicious and good quality. We ordered a side of potatoes which hadn't shown up halfway through our platter until I asked about them our server Nikhil apologised and had them rushed over and even removed the potatoes and an additional beer from the bill due to the slip-up. We hadn't even made a fuss about it so to see this level of service for a simple mistake was very impressive. Nikhil continued to be an excellent waiter throughout the whole evening. Finished with a tiramisu and semifreddo for dessert which were both very yum. Will definitely be returning another time to try out the steaks and other menu items! Only thing to note it's almost impossible to find a park around surrounding streets due to it being predominantly all permit zones. Make sure to allow yourself time before your booking. We ended up parking at the Woolworths a few streets over...
