My siblings and I are visiting Melbourne for few days and we went to that area to just... read more The doorman on duty tonight (8/2/19) was quite rude and dismissive to us. My siblings and I are visiting Melbourne for few days and we went to that area to just check out a few well known Melbourne rooftop bars as recommended by our tour...guide. We dressed reasonably well (long pants, shoes and short/long sleeves tops) and were polite but the doorman was quite dismissive and rude to us. He was annoyed when we asked if this is a rooftop bar(the only question I asked him that night). He was either looking down on us and/or being racist in general because he was super friendly, chatty and playful to the next group of cuacasian customers who walked in seconds after us. The worst thing is he didn’t even try to hide it and made it obvious in front of us. We finished our first round of drinks, paid the bill and got out of the bar as soon as we can because we felt unhappy with how we were being treated. I think your bar should change the doorman because he is a deterrent to attracting more customers who are visiting the country and who would be willing to spend money at the bar, unless you don’t want that.

I was here for a meet and started with 2 for 1 spritzer which I requested bartender (dressed in white shirt and black tie) that if I can have one now and one later as I'm willing to make payment beforehand as it wasn't very busy at that time, which he agreed and later on got another rounds of the same way, which was amazing. I believe this is an example for other pubs in CBD to follow and set standards high l, for creating a Fab experience for customer... So thank you team EP and surely I absolutely recommend the place with your mate's and will return soon again.... Keep Rocking

They catered for all our requests and made our guests feel welcome and happy. The food, service, atmosphere, everything was exquisite and I would highly recommend this veneue.
