Wine bottles stacked under th... read more Ecco is reminiscent of a warm and welcoming family trattoria with it's rustic paved walls, dim lit ambience and antique style bar. Wine bottles stacked under the staircase coupled with the flickering flame from the white brick wood fire oven peeping through the back kitchen window serve to excite the senses in anticipation of an authentic Italian menu. The restaurant showcases a comfortable variety of delicious and fresh pasta and large crunchy pizze amidst the classic entree and dessert selections, all of generous servings. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and the attentive and friendly staff are to thank. Who would have thought, stepping through that glass wooden door from a Melbourne street front, Ecco transported me into the quaint corner of a real Tuscan style locale. I'll be back on my next trip in town to experience Ecco's alfresco dining between the green filled terracotta pots in the back courtyard. Grazie!!

Everyone’s food arrived at the same... read more A wonderful and true Italian restaurant. A booking for 16 people, we were all individually and as a group well looked after. Everyone’s food arrived at the same time for all meals (still hot!! , and our glasses were never empty. Food was perfect and the service and staff were amazing. I dare say the pizza could be better than my Nonna’s, or even the best in Melbourne!!
