However, some dishes, like certain sides, received mixed reviews, suggesting they may not travel well as takeout. Was User at Easey's a mag?
After dining here a few times, I noticed that the menu is clearly marked for gluten-free options. The staff is friendly and genuinely understands gluten-free dietary needs. The buns are a bit unique, and the sweet potatoes are absolutely delicious. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Easey's:
I wouldn't recommend this place! The menu clearly states that items are gluten-free, but after a while, the waiter asked if it was important that the dish was coated in flour, which means it isn't gluten-free. View all feedback.
I visited Easey's in Melbourne for the first time and I was not disappointed! This casual restaurant has four levels with different zones, including a rooftop outdoor area.
Great concept: an old train converted into a rooftop restaurant serving delicious burgers. Very Melbourne.
Looking to people-watch some hipsters? This is the place to be. But if you're craving a delicious burger, look elsewhere.
Service: Food: Design: Waited 10 minutes downstairs for a table, only to get upstairs and see just 2 tables were actually occupied. The staff member wearing a mask was extremely unwelcoming. From the first greeting, the tone was aggressive and unfriendly, not the kind of vibe you expect from any restaurant, let alone one that charges this much. After being ignored, I had to walk up to the register myself, and it still took 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The burger was okay, nothing special. But the Impossible (plant-based) burger tasted bitter and unpleasant. Only good thing? The interior design, looks cool. But that’s not enough to save the experience. Never coming back and definitely don’t recommend it for the food or service. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
