Description

Collins Quarter is a popular spot with mixed reviews. Some patrons were disappointed by the overpriced menu and noisy atmosphere, while others praised the excellent coffee, impressive spirit collection, and attentive service. The establishment offers a good selection of alcohol and vegan options, making it a great place for a quick bite. The intimate ambiance, cool drinks menu, and friendly staff make it a top choice in the heart of Collins Street. Overall, it seems like a versatile option for different occasions, but with some areas that could be improved upon.

This was known as courtyard tavern, but is now known as collins quarter. it was built in 1873 as three terraces, but only two survive mow. no 88 has an opernkasten balkon and very wide decorative cast iron plates. . they must go...in the street to go to the restaurant, but is with a full bar and restaurant. sad because of covid 19 it was closed when I last visited and not even offered to take food. the building is classified national trust

Doc martin’s is a bar restaurant that has a good choice of alcohol on its camp. there is a good choice of vegan dressing in the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to pick up a little fast...plus the facility is really nice and quiet so it is easy to keep a conversation at this place. they make some really good cocktails too, so I would recommend that they order them

Love the decor in here very classic and elegant which matches the lovely end of town that it’s on. Coffee is very rich and almond milk compliments it very well

So Melbourne is renowned for speciality coffee. Which is great if you only drink coffee in day light hours. Then it becomes slim pickings and your best bet for a coffee hit which is of decent value is 7-11 $1 coffee because at least you know what you're going to get. Enter Doc Martin. It's 6:30pm on a cold Saturday night, I see a mythos one grinder and la marzocco in the window so I had high hopes that I could actually get a decent cup of coffee with fresh grind. Lo and Behold the coffee was excellent! And for providing excellent coffee outside traditional speciality cafe core hours I feel this is very worthy of a 5/5. Thanks once again. Will definitely return
