What Joanne Grimes doesn't like about Dish:
Was disappointed with the $35 lunch special. Gnocchi lacked flavour-could have done with a sauce. Minute steak was dry and only came with mash. Stick to the alacarte menu and you will be better off. View all feedback.
Had a large group dinner function here for workService was excellent and the food and wine was very good.
Dish is a modern and stylish restaurant in the boutique Royce Hotel, on St Kilda Road.
I had breakfast twice and lunch once here on a stay this month in the hotel. It really is an impressive restaurant with warm, efficient service, a good spread at breakfast and prompt delivery of a la carte items... oh, and great coffee, it is Melbourne after all!
Our 25th wedding anniversary dinner. We stayed at The Royce Hotel and thought we'd eat in at Dish. Expecting 2 hats quality. Rushed staff, average food and noisy. Two hats suggests a restaurant has it sh#t together but it was terribly disappointing given the occasion. Nice wine.
Lovely food, good choices not cheap but quality food. Staff are professional and the restaurant has a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
