**DC Dumplings: A Delightful Culinary Experience in Box Hill** DC Dumplings consistently impresses with its warm, family-friendly atmosphere and a menu brimming with delightful options. Diners rave about the pan-fried pork and xiao long bao dumplings, complimented by savory dishes like robust Shanghai noodles and crispy prawn toast. The friendly service and convenient parking enhance the experience, though some diners note that presentation could improve. Vegetarian offerings are a highlight, making it suitable for diverse palates. While prices are a touch high, the overall quality of food and attentive service ensure that a visit to DC Dumplings is well worth it.
I had a great experience at this restaurant, where the dumplings and xiao long bao (XLB) are both affordable and delightful. I also really enjoyed their Shanghai noodles. The service was very friendly, and it's nice that they accept card payments, which is quite rare in Box Hill. I'll definitely be coming back!
I usually visit DC Dumplings for their incredible pan-fried pork dumplings, which are always a generous and satisfying choice. However, tonight I was in the mood for something a bit more delicate, so I decided to try the soup-filled Xiaolongbao dumplings. They arrived steaming hot, so I had to wait a little while for them to cool down. The soup filling was delicious, and I only managed to tear the casing on one of them. We also sampled the prawn toast, and KD enjoyed a hearty, spicy soup that was quite warming. To finish off our meal, we indulged in sweet custard buns.
This is my favorite spot for dumplings. Their dumplings are incredible, especially on chilly days. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it!
I have been to DC Dumpling many times. Decided to visit on a quiet Friday night. I felt the spicy ox tripe could have had more punch to it. The fried pumpkin cakes had a delicious coating with chewy texture. As always, the pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings were a winner. Also, service was excellent.
Been delighted to dine at DC Dumplings time and time again! Food is yet to disappoint! Quaint aesthetics, family vibe. With lots of parking nearby, would recommend DC Dumplings for a quiet family night.
