Crunch cafe is simply fantastic! We went there for breakfast, and had the best breakfast we have had in many many years. The food portions are ample and the fresh ingredients the cooks use to create amazing food are wonderful. They had some home made chilli sauces, both which were exquisite, particularly the sweet coriander one.The food here is brilliant. We will be back for sure! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Crunch Cafe:
Hi, I applaud this restaurant for its organic menu, which is great but us others have said limited. The chai tea was tremendous. Poached eggs wonderful! I am writing this just to let the owners know. The green eggs have a home-made hollandaise sauce, which is not your normal creamy hollandaise. Unfortunately the beautifully poached eggs were placed on cold toast, cold ham and cold spinach. Definitely worth a second v... View all feedback.

My 3 yr old and I went to Crunch once a week on a weekday morning, while waiting for the library to open. The food is of a high standard, although I was so taken with the beetroot avo smash that I rarely ventured beyond this. The staff were always extremely friendly and tolerant of my little boy, which was great. Prices very reasonable as well. We will miss our weekly Crunchspedition.
Found this little cool cafe on high St. Was near my work and thought I'd give it a go. Food was amazing and coffee as well. All stuff is hand made on premise and the owner who cooks goes into delicate detail with taste and presentation of the dishes. Ingredients are top notch, if your after a great breakfast and take away Saturday snack be sure to visit the local gem. The owner remembers people by name, an art of sales lost long ago.. ....
Always excellent coffee. The menu has a collection of favs with excellent specials. Great service, pleasant atmosphere, and kid friendly.
Cafe standards in Melbourne are high, I lucked on this by pure chance. Just looking for a quick coffee before heading a little further up high street for some of the best European salumi in town. The menu was very different. Lots of organic food, creative as well as old standby's. Green eggs and ham?? I tried one of the homemade sausage rolls and it was delicious. Looks like even the salsa's are home made here. They seem to have gone out of their way to source the best bread, mushrooms, eggs and apparently coffee. I thought i had made a secret discovery but when I searched it on Melbourne blogs it was everywhere with very high ratings. This is one of those places you are scared to tell anyone about because it will soon be over-loaded. I was there late afternoon and it seems very popular with a cross section of trendy regulars and mums. Make a trip, ts worth it. Oh and the staff are very friendly and very concerned that my Piccolo was up to standard. It was and I had two more. Some people rave about the Chai so I assume their hot beverages are top of the range generally, I parked around the corner in Shaftesbury Street.
