Was Andy White at Crafty Squire a mag?
Enjoyed a catch up with friends on a fairly quiet midweek night. Service was quick and food delicious although a bit on the expensive side. Pork belly entrée was outstanding; juicy and flavoursome. Also had pork belly (in a pasta dish) for main and the amount of meat was extremely generous considering many places serving pork belly can be a bit stingy with the serving size. Chocolate dessert was sublime! Will definit... View all feedback.
What Myah Gusikowski dislikes about Crafty Squire:
Let's be honest, it's mutton dressed as lamb. The menu they have is quite good but when you pay $26 for a piece of pork belly which is probably 6x4cm in a sea of red cabbage, what they've promised becomes disappointing. I do understand that it is pub food, but I've had better $10 specials than what I was served tonight. View all feedback.
The portion sizes of the food were a bit small, especially the mashed potatoes that came with the chicken pie. However, the service from the wait staff was exceptional. Thank you!
The service and staff were fantastic, food was exceptionally good and the beers delicious as always, I would definitely go back heaps more times.
I went to this restaurant with a group of 8 people. Three of us ordered the steak medium rare, but 2 of them came out well done. Unfortunately, they were out of croquettes as a starter, and when my friend wanted to order the pie, they were also out of that. The beer was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. They also let us split the bills, which was a nice change!
