Description

Collins Kitchen offers a mixed dining experience according to recent reviews. One review mentioned that the service was slow and the food was okay but not outstanding. Another diner found the atmosphere lacking due to few diners present. However, positive reviews praised the attentive staff and excellent food, particularly during high tea. Overall, while there were some complaints about service and food quality, Collins Kitchen also received high praise for its atmosphere and dining options, making it a somewhat mixed but potentially worthwhile dining destination in Melbourne.

RuCo Cocktail Bar is located in the Grand Hyatt Hotel next to the main lobby. The bar has an intimate cozy relaxed vibe. The staff area friendly and the cocktails area excellent. I tried the barrel aged negroni which had good flavours and strength. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best restaurant for a quiet eat. Really spacious restaurant with tables far apart from each other ideal for a small friend group with a lot to chat about! Food was a standard selection but done well. Will definitely visit again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Great hidden gem tucked inside the Grand Hyatt. The atmosphere is sleek and welcoming, and the food was impressive overall. Highly recommend the wood-fired bread and pork belly skewers – both packed with flavour. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order and really well-seasoned. The only slight letdown was the eye fillet, which had a very charred taste. While it was still cooked beautifully, the bitterness from the char was a bit much for my personal preference. Would definitely recommend dining here, especially if you can grab a deal through EatClub or First Table – great value for the quality!
