Description

Chocolate Buddha, located in central Melbourne CBD, offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. The restaurant boasts a great location and stunning views, with friendly and attentive staff. However, some diners found the food to be disappointing, particularly the rice dishes. Those who enjoyed their meal praised the udon soups and mushroom tempura. While some found the service rushed, others appreciated the quick service, especially when dining before a performance. Despite mixed reviews on the food quality, many customers are repeat diners who appreciate the wide menu selection and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Chocolate Buddha offers a unique fusion of Asian flavors and textures, making it a worthwhile dining option in Melbourne.

Love the new renovations and Sushil train. We had fantastic table service and good quality food. My only complaint is the pricing and the portion sizes. Surcharges on weekends are through the roof.

Great place ambience is energising, but choose carefully as some dishes are better than others eg vegetarian main course were 'nice ' rather than excitinb.

The food at Chocolate Buddha is consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and great for sharing. We ordered three different plates, including starters and shareable dishes, and left feeling satisfied. The only letdown was the coffee. I ordered a decaf latte and it was truly awful. It tasted like dishwater and I couldn't even finish it, which was disappointing considering the high quality of the food. It's a shame to spend $6 on bad coffee when the rest of the experience was so wonderful.
