Was Anonym at City Kebabs a mag?
Loved this tiny outlet that serves hot delicious doner kebabs and HSP (Halal snack pack) - grilled kebab meat served on a bed of french fries and cheese, and garnished with sauces. Prices range from $10-12 for takeaways (no dine in option is available). Conveniently located on Flinder's Street, it is close to the dozens of backpackers hostels around Southern Cross station. It is one of the few eateries that remain op... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about City Kebabs:
Not only did we have to wait 45mins for a lamb kebab and a small HSP while the staff inside sweated everywhere....the food was terrible we ended up throwing it in the bin....i will never go back there again View all feedback.

If I ever get stranded on a deserted island, the 3 food groups I would want to have with me would be bubble tea, doughnuts and HSP! And CBD Kebabs' version of HSP is right up there with the best. <br/ <br/ They were very generous with everything. Lots of fresh crispy chips, a mountain of delicious meat and lashings of excellent sauce. The combination resulted in a carb high. <br/ <br/ The folks serving us were nice and friendly too. And with long opening hours, this place has a lot going for it.

Trying this kebab shop for the first time after searching for best kebab in Melbourne and found this is one of the recommended ones from a few blogs. I ordered the small HSP (not sure why it’s called this). The lamb is thinly sliced and juicy. But after awhile I find it too heavy without vegetables or bread to balance the taste. Also I felt very thirsty for the rest of the day. It’s a negative point for me.

I have had many HSPs (Halal Snack Pack) and Kebabs in 3 years that I have been in Melbourne. It is cheap, filling and one of the best comfort food on the streets available till late at night. Since the time I’ve started eating from CBD Kebab, I have not found any other one as good as them. The meat is always flavourful and juicy. I always order a mix HSP and a mix Kebab, mix in this case if a mix of lamb meat and chicken, and you can differentiate between both the meats just by smelling it. The smell makes the flavor even better and it just makes everything tastier.

Bone cold meat , yesterdays I imagine , pita bread and salad was warmer than meat , if you wish to give a reply to what you've ordered don't hold your breath they have message bank not taking messages , pathetic. Scammers stealing and hiding in plain sight.
