We spent an afternoon avoiding the rain and enjoying some drinks at the Captain Melville and enjoyed it a lot. The bar staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. We ordered some food for snack which was also very good. I will definitely visit again when next in Melbourne.

Four of us had an early meal so we could catch a nearby show. Right from the start the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The meals were simple but excellent. We had the fish & chips, chicken burger, ragout and soup of the day. All meals were of the highest standard as was the service. I just wished we could have stayed on to enjoy more of the hospitality.

Randomly found this pub last night we thought we would check it out. Love the lay out of this place and the set up. Service is pretty good and have a good range of beers. I ordered the parma and was impressed, came with a nice salad, crispy chips and the parma itself was pretty decent. Moist, thick, cooked well but I felt it just needed something more not to sure but was lacking something. Maybe the crumbs, just felt it needed something more but overall still pretty good and filling. Pretty decent price $21.00, I would go back again but would go to my other parma places first.
