I had a negative experience at this restaurant. The waiter serving the outdoor area was incredibly rude to me and my 15-year-old son during breakfast. He snapped at us for trying to sit down at an empty table and then got mad when the QR code was assigned to the wrong table number. Despite the empty tables, he kept several parties waiting to be seated for a long time, causing some to leave. This behavior was unnecessary and ruined the morning for us. Maybe he should have taken the day off if he was having a bad day. However, the food was good and served quickly.
I have visited this restaurant several times as we often stay at Crown hotels, but I have never been impressed by the service. However, my most recent experience was particularly bad. We went to the restaurant on a quiet Monday morning for breakfast. We were seated by an Italian waiter in his mid-50s who took our order for coffee in a strange manner. When our food finally arrived, my wife's scrambled eggs on toast came out first, but my meal was delayed for over 10 minutes. Despite trying to get someone's attention, we were ignored until the waiter finally realized the mistake and brought my plate. Although he apologized, there was no effort to rectify the situation with a discount or replacement meal. This poor service left a sour taste in our mouths and soured what would have been a pleasant weekend. I will avoid Cafe Baci in the future and recommend others do the same.
I had a wonderful breakfast at Baci last weekend. The French toast was delicious, reasonably priced, and served quickly. I was ecstatic to have discovered this restaurant in the Crown complex.
Friendly staff but nothing else good to say. Over priced, below average food with most of our meals served cold, no one likes cold eggs! When asked how our food was, I replied with an honest answer of below average , this did not get a response from staff.
We found this place via Crowne Casino when all food places were closed. We were grateful with low expectations after a long travel day. But we were very pleased by the service, and ambience and the pizza was next level. We had a vegetarian pizza. The base was cooked to perfection and pesto and bocconcini was amazing. The wall is classically scattered with interesting art and old relics of coffee machines from bygone days. We returned in the day but it was overflowing and fully booked. A true gem in the Tinseltown of the casino
