What Diane Latham dislikes about Burgled:
Disappointed. I went through the whole process of selecting and ordering items through their website only to be told, at checkout, that this restaurant is no longer taking orders . Well they won 't be taking any of my money in the foreseeable future. Fix your website! View all feedback.
The service is quick friendly and the chips are delicious. therefore this evaluation is two stars instead of a star. the vegetarian burgers need more work to put it nicely. there are only two possibilities that both for those of us who want to join friends of the family if they order from their restaurant. first there is hardly any sweetness in the veg burger: a leaf salat, two slices tomato, a thin spread of avocado (in one option). that's a $13.50-14 burger. why so stingy on the vege? second, the vegetarian patty is very oily. in halloumi burger is the halloumi fried, not grilled. why not grill the halloumi? it is a healthier option. when they are a carnivore, I gather that it is a great place for them with great decisions. the vegetarians who want to insert themselves into a meal with their carnivorous friends or family, I strongly suggest that they eat elsewhere before they visit this place, then simply order the chips / a drink so that they are not completely omitted. hopefully, the owners will improve their vegetarian burgers by adding more fresh veg, removing the cheese / veg grill, processed or fried parts. Thank you for considering it. keep them the good work with the burgers, the people love the Yam chips!
Tried their really basic cheese burger and seriously McDonald's version probably tasted better. Meat patties were quite tasteless. Unsure how it received so many positive reviews . Give it a go.
Burgled is a cheap and cheerful experience with friendly staff. Pricing is reasonable and the food is tasty. Also it’s not too greasy which is always a plus. Sometimes they have good specials going on as well.
This restaurant is no longer in operation. I am leaving this review to inform others so they do not make the trip there, while Google processes my request to mark it as permanently closed.
