....and conveniently located around the back of the Grand Hyatt. The long communal tables mean that it probably gets a little cosy at busier times. Early on a Saturday morning the service was good and my poached eggs on toast (which were perfectly cooked) arrived quickly. Extensive breakfast menu. Light and airy. Lots of mags to read. Closed on a Sunday but I'll be back tomorrow.
When you have to call a waiter to your table to take your order you just hope the food is going to be good! The waitress, appeared inexperienced, had to read the menu to confirm our order, and then after 3 corrections a second person had to come to table to check the order. Coffee arrived at best lukewarm! Food arrived with a cold sausage and cold tomatoe! The side of mushrooms ordered by one guest never arrived! Not one person waiting on tables seemed in control and certainly the kitchen couldn't put a hot breakfast on the plate! They were not busy! Probably tells a story!
A busy café servicing lots of business people on their way to work in the morning. Had the eggs and bacon along with coffee. They make a nice coffee, the food was good and the service was prompt. Very clean and nice ambience. Was handy to our accommodation at Adina Apartments, Flinders Street.
