3 of us dine on Sunday night - don't know why so busy, maybe other places closed but it was a humming vibe. Had a to wait at a the bar for a bit before our (booked) table was ready. Menu and style of eating explained well by our waiter and consequent other wait staff were unobtrusive when not needed and helpful when they were. We chose a well cooked mix of tapas small dishes, managed to get a delicious mix of fried morsels, crunchy salad, and slow tender pork. Took a little too long between plates for my liking, but the open kitchen was pumping. Nice wine selection too.

Was recommended this bar for an evening drink (it serves food too), roof top location, lovely cocktails.

We arrived early on a cold and wintery night and were lucky we arrived early, we didn't have a booking and the place filled up pretty damn fast. The front of house staff walk the line of friendly, helpful an unobtrusive perfectly. They are there when you need them and not when you don't. The place itself has a nice cosy atmosphere, perfect for the weather. Not sure I'd be so happy on a stinking hot Melbourne summer evening. *shrug* I'll be happy to come back and see.The atmosphere and the front of house staff are more or less irrelevant though, because even if they were awful I'd still be telling you to go here. The food was just divine. We had a range of dishes to share and they were all spectacular, the stand outs for me were the braised pork jowl and an oxtail coquette that was on the specials list for the evening. They have a truly awe inspiring wine and sherry list, so if that's your thing I'm sure you will not be disappointed, but personally I can't tell a fruity lexia from a grange hermitage so it was wasted on me. The ciders they have on offer were pretty damn fine though. The TL;DR do yourself a favour, make a booking, skip lunch and go and try as many of the dishes here as possible. You will not regret it.

Great to see Bomba Rooftop still going strong on our recent after works drinks visit. A good range of tap beer and some delightful looking cocktails too. There was only space at the southern end as opposed to the sunny northern side. Very echoey from all the chit chat of happy drinkers. Good selection of bar snacks, skewers and platters. Previous Reviews We came here for a midweek work function after a full on team building day and we were all ready for a relaxing drink. I loved the cozy rooftop space and we got there as it was just starting to get dark so the views of the city scrap and crawling cars were a joy. It's always good when someone else is paying for drinks but I liked the eclectic mix of beers on the menu, both local and further afield. I settled on the only tap beer which was a Four Pines Kolsch which is a easy drinking German styled beer. There were about 30 of us and the staff did well to keep sharing platters coming out fast. I really loved this tapas style food. The sweet corn was amazing. In fact there was plenty of vegetarian very tasty vegetarian options which I really enjoyed so a good spot to bring those mates of yours who don't partake in carnivorous activity. For those of us that do the lamb ribs were absolutely delicious. They also had plenty of heaters to keep the chill out of the air. Over all a very enjoyable experience.
