Was Bronwyn Cooksley at Bodega Underground a mag?
We've been here a number of times and thoroughly recommend the tasting menu (although do go hungry, we actually turned one course away the last time, we were so full), the cocktails and the bottomless brunch. It's a pleasure to go with The Vegetarian, as there are complete vegan options, and I can still carnivore at will, which make the whole experience painless. View all feedback.
What Leta Schiller dislikes about Bodega Underground:
partner ordered a vegan meal, wait staff announced it was vegan and this was double confirmed. meal contained and it was sent back. it was not eaten for happiness. there are far too many good vegan options out there as coming back here. that was not her fault, but that was really not good enough. Wednesday night bar crawl found us at East End Den. Smallish bar, fits about fifty people. Spacious feel, lovely furniture and streamlined decor. Cool artwork. We enjoyed the Margarita and the Black Martini. Service very warm and friendly, and the cocktails were excellently presented. Cool tunes, cruisy vibe. Would be great in here on a busier night, although it was pretty quiet for a Wednesday at 10pm. Would definitely come back.
Went here and got the 2 for 1 cocktail deal, i thought the cocktails were amazing! And very well priced, great little bar with awesome atmosphere, would highly recommend for groups of people!
We found this bar nearby Her Majesty's Theatre before seeing Singin' In The Rain. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday and were able to get a table easily however by the time we left the bar it was jammed full. Between the 2 of us we shared the Gunard Sliders and fries with wasbi aioli. Our waiter suggested 4 sliders (instead of 3 as per the menu) which was a welcome tip. There was a good wine list and the cocktails seemed popular.
If you plan on doing the bottomless brunch, make sure you eat before Because the drinks are the only good thing about it, the food was trash, had no flavour, only the corn on the cob and Tacos were great, everything else was just so mid. For such basic cuisine our whole group was truly shocked with how flavourless the mains were. At least the service for the drinks during bottomless were constant snf flowing. Good choice of cocktails. But yeah really disappointed with the food, thought it'd be better Meal type: Brunch Price per person: A$60–80 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
