What a cute little place this is. If you're in the legal district of Melbourne around William street then you need to visit this place. An Italian bistro where the waiters know their stuff. They'll explain each item of the menu (which is written on the board on the wall, no paper) and they'll choose a wine to match. And if you have to be out in an hour to get back to work? No problems. The pasta was excellent, but it felt quite overpriced for a lunch choice. It was prepared quickly and tasted fresh, with fantastic flavor.

The Dear Luncher opted for his usual long macchiato and found it to be spot-on. The coffee here is clearly dependable. However, there weren't many quick breakfast choices available. Ultimately, he went with the classic ham, cheese, and tomato toasted sandwich. This choice turned out to be excellent, primarily due to the high quality of the bread. It was crusty on the outside yet soft and delicate on the inside. The Dear Luncher’s co-workers watched with envy as each bite produced a satisfying crunch. While the breakfast combo was a bit on the pricey side at $14.20, it was definitely an enjoyable treat.

It’s a nice, cosy place with a friendly vibe. The waiter can be a little overbearing but only slightly. The food is always tasty and while it’s not cheap, you get what you pay for. I’ve not had a bad meal there.
