We just wanted something ligh for lunch & so walked down the street where there seemed to be some action out front with tables, umbrellas & street gardes, check... read more We just wanted something ligh for lunch & so walked down the street where there seemed to be some action out front with tables, umbrellas & street gardes, checked out menu on board out front & it looked so inviting as the sweets e.g. Vanilla Slice, Timariso & all the delectible cakes you would want were on display inside the front window so we walked inside & was greeted by Lucas who made us most welcome as did the ladies attending to the other patrons & counter etc. The food delicious & very stimulating as not only sweet things but lovely savoury menu was also available. We had couple light beers with my all time favourite Eggs Benedict & Wagu Burger for my guest. If you ask for runny eggs, they bring meal out on a 'breadboard' so do ask for a dinner plate or you will have runny egg all over the table. Not sure if they realised as it all looked good on the breadboard but not practical. What a grand little place in the 'burbs' to eat. Take friend to impress or just go & sit yourself for a coffee or whatever. I did enjoy my experience at Beans Republique & the great smiles on the faces of the Waiters was something to remember!

The server was very friendly and the cafe was extremely clean. We will definitely be returning.

After 5 years to buy my morning coffee here, I am so disappointed by the latest experiences, tee leaves in my tee, 1/2 a cup coffee when I asked for a big one.... read more After 5 years to buy my morning coffee here, I am so disappointed by the latest experiences, tee leaves in my tee, 1/2 a cup coffee when I asked for a big one. and on a beautiful Sunday morning I took my team to lunch to say that my king had to go horny. When I asked why, I was told he annoyed the customers who, when asked, said he was in order. When I looked back the staff, they admired all four of us. I'm forced to think that a caffe that just survived 2 years unlocking can be so tactless, rude and picks fight with their customers. bad form, grace and bj, only bad form.
