Menu
On this website, you will find the complete menu of Atomica Caffe from Melbourne. Currently, there are 16 meals and drinks available.
Atomica in Fitzroy was once a favorite cafe for many, known for its magnificent coffee and gluten-free brunch options. However, recent changes have left some customers disappointed. The cafe has seen a shift in staff and a decline in food quality, with burnt croissants and lackluster toast reported. Despite these setbacks, the coffee remains a standout feature, with delicious blends and friendly service. While the food may not be what it used to be, Atomica still attracts loyal customers for its exceptional coffee and welcoming atmosphere.

Was Thilo Schreiner at Atomica Caffe a mag?
We tried this little cafe while visiting Fitzroy (Vic) and even though it didn't strike a cord of amazement the coffee was well taken and smooth as it should be, and the food (cornbread with rice, eggs and hollandaise) was good with all the flavours there. It didn't disappoint. The outside space can be a little too tight. But it is a nice spot for a brekkie. Friendly staff too. View all feedback.
What Denis Seguin dislikes about Atomica Caffe:
This place has changed hands very recently and sadly it is no longer what it used to be. The owner is more focused on hiring the cheapest backpackers he can find rather than baristas who can make good coffee. The coffee is now just not what it was vibe certainly not Brunswick st rather it is becoming more and more like crappy cafe in a shopping centre. It is very sad to see the end of a great cafe. Certainly won't be... View all feedback.
I know and have had a long running likable relationship with Atomica for many years (I was even trained as a barista via their staff many moons ago). I appreciate their recent review on coffee and as I sit and wait for said coffee I cannot help but think over the attempted meal we just sat through. First and foremost my meal of sides was, as hoped good. My friends however have a very diffent tune to sing (note false names for annonimity are being used): Greg ordered a simple ham and cheese croissant, it was burnt. Darlene ordered multigrain toast.. this is where things get interesting. We say something, because as you can see there is a considerable lack of grain action going on with this toast. So we say something "there's no grains here" the manager comes out and argues "there is", poor form in my books. But that's the line the manager took. In the end we ended up with a replaced croissant and Darlene suffering through, that which she didn't order... So now we sit with exception coffees, I just wish the same could be said for both the service and the food :/ Result: come for coffee. That is all.
Just Go! Nice place. Nice People. Really friendly staff. Free wifi! And that's really not common in Australia! :)

They need to get rid of the energy drink stand and stop making it into a bland place. The seats out the front were iconic. Also bring the French barista back in the mornings. Keep it real guys !!!
Absolutely disgusting bitter, cold coffee. I took one sip, placed the coffee on the table and walked out. Way over rated!
