We had an early sitting, midweek, but the restaurant was still full. The food was overall excellent. The grilled calamari was excellent and the veal excellent. The only drawback was the spinach was overloaded with garlic. We noticed there were many other customers who also left the spinach. Desserts were excellent. I have the social citrus pudding. One of the best restaurants in Melbourne. Always a favourite of ours. The service and food is always first class. Michael is an excellent host who always manages to have a pleasant conversation with all the diners.
We really enjoyed our meal and the service fantastic can't wait to come back to Melbourne and come back. A hidden secret traditional Italian food.
Just had the best meal I have had in a while. Service was amazing. The meals were big and full of flavour. Traditional Italian! Thank you Vince crew, I'll be back!
Atmosphere was good Food was average from my standpoint; I judge an Italian restaurant by the quality of its Tiramisu, which was very disappointing here The price of food was over the top for my liking $19 for a very ordinary side salad!!! Total cost ended up being ~120 per person Plus, please don't bring us bread when we didn't ask for it, and then charge us for it!!! I think they knew we were there for a work dinner, and ended up fleecing us a little Price per person: $100–120 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
A nice cozy atmosphere. Was an amazing dinner that didn't leave you feeling heavy. The pasta was amazing but the gnocchi was the best I've ever had. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
