This was my first visit down hardware lane, the restaurant was cosy and perfect for a small group. We decided to go with banquet A (approx $35PP) there were 4 courses and lots of food, very good value and everyone was full after the meal. To be honest I have had better Thai food but for the value the food was good. The Massaman beef was delicious, the beef was very tender. The service was good too and the staff were... What Delta Lubowitz dislikes about Aloi Na:
Awesome location. Fabulous service. The food was lovely. It wasn't anything exceptional but having just returned from Thailand our expectations are probably a little high. The roti with peanut sauce was awesome. That sauce was great. The pad Thai was average as was the pad see ew Delicious cosmopolitans and cocktails. They were made beautifully and not with syrup garbage. The staff were fabulous and we had a great ni... View all feedback.
I've been coming here for years with people - it's one of my favourite places to meet up for lunch. The East Asian food is consistently good without being spectacular, it's comfortable, and there's a good variety of dishes. The service is usually quick and the prices are average for this area.
My second time to this restaurant during a break to Melbourne. Great food, great prices, great service and lovely ambience!! Well worth a visit!!
After walking through a sea of Italian and burger places, this place seemed an attractive option for dinner before a show. It took a little while for the food to arrive and we felt a bit rushed once it did, but I have to say that the food was lovely. We had beef with ginger, a fabulous chicken salad and barramundi in special thai sauce. The meals were fresh and tasty, clean flavours and the meat was of good quality.Hardware lane is a great place to people watch and sitting outside allowed us to soak up the atmosphere. An enjoyable meal but just a little too rushed, given our time constraints.
The duck red curry I had for lunch was delicious. The vegetables were very fresh and still crispy, and the duck was semi-lean with little fat. The dish was presented in a quaint red clay pot.
