The Mediterranean influenced menu is what attracted me to try it We were there for lunch and it was booming Some lunch dishes come with a choice of two salads and a dip. My zucchini fritters were a bit over fried but the combination worked well Service was a bit slack but the staff were very friendly I would definitely go back if I found myself in Yarraville again View all feedback.
I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and the flavorful Moroccan Meatball Wrap at this restaurant. The service was prompt and attentive, with water automatically provided. The seating options include both indoor and outdoor areas. I chose to sit inside, but it was a bit warm due to the sunny weather outside.
My score 3.5 stars. Had lunch here a few times. Food great, staff pleasant but sometimes trying to get served takes ages the food can take a long time to come out (even if it is pre made stuff like dips/bread)! Most recently we had: A large salad plate of Tabbouleh plus Chickpeas in Tahini sauce – Great. Also Large Baba ganoush, Tzatziki, Dolma flatbread – Dips yum. Pity the service doesn't always match the food... Previously we've had Vego Antipasti platter: 2 dolmas Good. Olives Nice. 2 falafels Very dry. Feta A tasty generous block. Tatziki Yum (very thick had nigella seeds crushed almonds). Hummus Was ok, not the best we’ve had not strongly flavoured a bit too lemony. Pita bread fine. Zucchini fritter Well herbed with dill, but a bit chewy hard to cut. 2 salads: Chickpea in tahini sauce Very, very good. Tabbouleh Flavoursome, very good.
This morning, I decided to have breakfast at Advieh. I have always enjoyed their food and coffee. I ordered the delicious Advieh breakfast along with a large almond milk latte. As I was finishing my latte, I felt something hit my teeth. I spat it back into the cup and discovered it was a piece of glass. I called the waiter over, who apologized and took the glass back inside. She returned, apologized again, and offered me another coffee, which I declined. My sister and I got up to leave, but she went back in to speak to the staff and ask for the manager. The owner, who was painting at the front of the shop, said he was unaware of the incident and suggested that a glass might have broken the day before. He dismissed it as an accident. I was disappointed by their attitude and lack of response. I used to enjoy dining at Advieh, but this experience has changed my opinion.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast last weekend with some friends. Despite being a local, I had never been here before, but I will definitely be coming back. The food was delicious, with generous portions, perfect coffee, and efficient customer service. The restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside, and there are also great outdoor dining options. The restroom could use a bit of updating to make it look cleaner and more modern, but it didn't detract too much from the overall positive experience. I will definitely be returning!
