Richardson's Cafe - Mathews

DELIGHTFUL LITTLE HOME TOWN CAFE, THEIR TOMATO BASIL SOUP IS AMAZING, PRICED RIGHT, WITH A VARIED BOHEMIAN MENU......................DEFINITELY FOUR AND A HALF STARS!! WAITSTAFF FIRST CLASS, CHEF EXCELLENT................GREAT MEALS AND BEER ON TAP AND GOOD SELECTION OF WINES...............

I've done enough traveling to have eaten in a few supposedly fancy restaurants. New York City, Honolulu, Nags Head, Miami. But invariably, I can't wait to get back to my Mathews, VA hometown restaurant Richardson's. Well prepared, obviously thought out, choices, specials, seafood, fairly priced, excellent service. There are other good places to eat but I can always count on the consistency of Richardson's.
