Always has good food. Pastrami sandwich is very good
We affectionately call it “the ole dooleys” in our family. Breakfast, lunch or dinne, we will take out or eat in. The staff is always incredibly friendly and quick. The food never disappoints. We love the short stack and the breakfast sandwiches (if we are looking for something quick to grab). The barbecue is always delicious. It’s a family favorite for sure!
Love this local place..... food great, portions way more than fair, service friendly and helpful.....and value? Way better than most!!!
My husband and I live in Richmond but our family owns a home in the area that we visit several times a year. This diner is a must every time we're there. The food is fresh and delicious with very fair pricing. The staff is so friendly and takes the time to acknowledge our previous visits. They're also very quick with taking our order and delivering our food. Our most recent visit only took about 30 minutes. If you're ever in Mathews or Gloucester, definitely take the time to eat here.
